Wings Over Paradise Scholarship


The Paradise Coast Chapter 99s is proud to announce that the 2016 WINGS OVER PARADISE  scholarship has been awarded to Ms. Virginie Rollin of Deland, FL.

Virginie is a professor of aeronautical engineering at Embry Riddle University, Daytona Beach, and an enthusiastic 99.  She has served as webmaster and secretary of the Spaceport chapter, and is a member of the SE Section  Nominating Committee.  Virginie earned her private pilot license in New Mexico, and will be working on her instrument rating here in FL. 

Since 2011 the WINGS OVER PARADISE  scholarship has been awarded annually to assist a female pilot who is a FL resident  in paying  for any phase of flight training (private pilot through ATP including instructor ratings).  Thanks again to all the dedicated members of the Paradise Coast Chapter who continue to raise money for our scholarship fund.

The 2017 Wings Over Paradise scholarship winner will receive $1000 to apply to any phase of flight training.  The winner must be a FL resident.
